The purpose of a mission statement is to perform all assignments set forth upon Direct Support Operations (DSO) in support of the WMD-CST, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) Teams, Homeland Response Force (HRF), Teams and Fatality Search and Recovery Teams (FSRT). For these Units to accomplish their mission, which is to support the civil authorities at a domestic chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or high yield explosive incident, the DSO section must make accurate and appropriate decisions regarding each Units’ supplies and maintenance requisitions. Sustain the equipment and provide education and training to the DSO section and Commanders in reference to the policies and procedures of the Consequence Management Support Center. In order to maintain optimal support of the Units, DSO must be on call 24/7.
