The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) is soliciting proposals from qualified sources to provide the following Services:
Consulting Services: We have several projects that have been identified from a recent Cyber Security assessment and looking for firms that can assist with the management and implementation of those efforts to increase our overall maturity.
Staff Augmentation Services: COTA is looking to partner with staffing firms that can find qualified skills sets to offset our current cybersecurity staffing needs. Those positions include but not limited to: Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Security Engineer, Security Analyst, and Managed Services: Security Operations Center (SOC). The contract is tentatively scheduled to begin on August 1, 2022 and expire on July 31, 2024.
Managed Services: COTA is limited in our staffing for proactively managing our threat monitoring and assessments. To assist with those challenges, COTA is also requesting that vendors who provide managed cyber services provide their proposal on how they could improve our ability to monitor such threats to our infrastructure.
COTA is soliciting firms that can fill one or multiple of the above services to provide their proposal on how they can assist with the work that has been identified. For security purposes, we have not provided the specific work or projects in the RFP request and will share that at an appropriate time. COTA will assess the proposals presented and determine the best one or multiple services that meet our current capabilities and strategy for addressing our cybersecurity challenges.
Requests for staff augmentation services will be made on a temporary or temporary to permanent basis according to COTA’s need and the nature of the requirement. Proposers should identify all requirements for which they are able to provide personnel. Please note that COTA reserves the right to award multiple contracts for the above services to ensure that our business needs (strategic, project based and staffing) are met.
