The District seeks proposals from vendors experienced in the initiation, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and ultimate delivery of information technology projects and programs, as well as the elicitation, documentation and management of business and technical requirements. These consulting services will be broken down into Labor Categories. We anticipate the successful Proposer would be able to provide all Categories of services under a single contract, and that the services will be available as needed based on the District’s project portfolio.
The Information Technology Project Management Office (PMO) is located at the Main Office Building of the District in Chicago, Illinois. It is responsible for: the development and maintenance of project management methodology and tools; consulting and collaborating with District personnel to identify and implement technology which supports the District’s operations and strategic goal achievement; monitoring and reporting on the Information Technology Project Portfolio. Current technologies used are Microsoft Office Suite, Project Web Application, Project and Visio.
