Scope of Work

The City of Rockford is soliciting bids for providing a variety of IT services in support of approximately 1,200 employees, approximately 1,300 computing devices, 110 printers, and 706 VoIP phones at its facilities throughout Rockford, Illinois. These services include:

• Hardware maintenance for desktops, laptops, workstations, and servers
• Printer hardware repair and consumable support
• Install, move, change, add, and uninstall services
• Help Desk services, including Dispatch, Level I and Level II services
• Email / eFAX Administration / Spam Filtering
• Enterprise Anti-virus / anti-malware administration
• Print Server and WebJetAdmin administration
• DNS / DHCP administration
• Active Directory Domain administration
• SharePoint administration
• NetMotion administration
• Help Desk / Asset Tracking System Administration
• Infor Hansen application development and administration
• Tyler Technologies Munis Financial System Administration
• Executime System Administration and time clock support
• GIS development, support, project management
• Business Analyst services
• Cisco Unified Communications Solutions, support, administration
• Enterprise Patch Management administration

The goal of this Request for Proposal is to identify and evaluate potential IT service providers regarding their experience, capabilities, service offerings and pricing structures. The City’s plan is to develop a relationship with a vendor in order to provide IT services and improve service levels and efficiency of the IT Department. The City is seeking a single vendor to support all of the services outlined within this RFP.
