The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to contract with one or more temporary staffing agencies able to source applicants and provide the City with qualified individuals to work on temporary work assignments, as needed. See Attachment A, Specifications and Scope of Work, for additional details.
The City intends to award a contract to one or more selected proposer(s) (Proposer or Contractor) who deliver the best overall value to the City, considering the evaluation factors provided herein.
During the term of this Agreement, Contractor agrees to provide the following services on an as-needed basis:
Temporary, hourly personnel meeting position qualifications, as requested, to work on-site at designated City location and at work schedule acceptable to the City.
Sourcing, screening, and presenting prospective temporary personnel.
Timely payment of wages and related payroll taxes to the temporary personnel from Contractor’s own accounts.
Provide and explain to temporary personnel the employee benefits set forth in this Agreement.
Maintain complete records of all wages, benefits, and personnel actions paid or taken by Contractor in connection with any of the temporary personnel assigned to City and retain control of such records at such Contractor location as shall be determined solely by Contractor but shall make such records available as required by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
